Circus of Fools: A musical freak show Fulfilling expectations? Mostly this: all’s different. The twelve songs on the band’s sophomore album, REX, mix folk, electro and cabaret with a solid dose of metal. Just plain loopy. Besides of guitar soli you’ll get a viola solo. Male chunky shouts take turns with throaty female cleans – only without the Nightwish drama. Radical changes of atmosphere underline: expect nothing. Or everything.
