MATT HART hatte vor etwa 15 Jahren die Idee, elektronische/industrielle Musik unter seinem eigenen Namen zu schreiben, und hat seither nebenbei Musik geschrieben. Allerdings hielten ihn sein Tagesjob, seine Zeit als Gitarrist und Bassist bei der Londoner Industrialband CONCRETE LUNG und seine Tätigkeit als DJ im wegweisenden Londoner Alternative-Club SLIMELIGHT davon ab, sich auf sein eigenes Schaffen zu konzentrieren.

Im Jahr 2017 änderten sich die Dinge und er beschloss, im Januar einen Backkatalog mit dreizehn Tracks unter dem Namen “Anthology of Corrosion” zu veröffentlichen.
Mit neuem Elan für die Kreation brachte er dann im März eine Zwei-Track-Single “Judge & Punish” heraus. Später in 2017 veröffentlichte er seine erste “echte” EP, “Chaos Rising”. Und wurde von einigen Szene-Magazinen rezensiert:  “Es ist nicht perfekt, an manchen Stellen ist es eher eine Ehrfurcht vor den Einflüssen, als dass es von ihnen inspiriert ist, aber es ist ein solider Start, und ich kann nur hoffen, dass Matt in der Zukunft mehr Material folgen lassen wird.” – Amodelofcontrol.
Weiteres Material folgte im Januar 2018 mit “Transition01” und “Chaos Rising 2” am 14. März. Am 9. August veröffentlichte Matt “Mercury Flow” und die B-Seite, “Better World (remastered)”. “Chaos Rising 3” wurde am 30. November 2018 veröffentlicht.

2018 war auch das Jahr, in dem er das Chaos auf die Bühne brachte. Mit dem Live-Gitarristen Jerome Badoux von Drilling Spree. Am 24. März unterstützte Matt Mortalitech im Zigfred von Underbelly, und vor kurzem unterstützte er [:SITD:] im Electrowerkz. Seitdem hat er viele gute Worte zu seiner Liveshow geerntet, und wird die Musik für die Bühne weiterentwickeln.

2019 begann mit einem Knall als Support von Sulpher und Sheep on Drugs im Lexington, im April unterstützte Matt Grendel und im Juli supportete er God Module und ESA, beide im Electrowerkz. Im Sommer spielte er mit Das Ich die Warm Up Party für das britische Ausgabe des “Infest Festival” und im November spielte er auf dem ersten “Static Darkness Festival” in London mit den Headlinern Rotersand, Funker Vogt und Agonoize.

Die “Chaos Rising”-Trilogie wurde von Matt selbst produziert, gemischt und gemastert. Das Artwork wurde von Vlad McNeally von kallistidesign erstellt. In der Zukunft und beginnend mit dem neuen Album “TERRA 3808” hat Matt die technischen Dienste von Adi Calef von DNA Studios London für das Mischen und Mastern in Anspruch genommen.

Im November 2019 veröffentlicht Matt das Album “TERRA 3808”. Das Alt Enter Magazin schreibt… “Nach mehreren Singles veröffentlicht Matt Hart nun das neue Full-Length-Album ‘Terra 3808’. Es ist ein Konzeptalbum, das in der Zukunft spielt, in der der Mensch so tief im Mainframe der Existenz verankert ist, dass er nur noch oberflächlich in der Realität existiert. Ein Industrial-Album in seiner feinsten Form, das eine Geschichte von einer dystopischen Zukunft, Krieg und einer düsteren Realität erzählt.”

2020 war ein Jahr des Wandels und der Neuausrichtung. Mit der Veranstaltungsbranche in Aufruhr, ist Matt zu seinen Wurzeln als DJ zurükgekehrt und hat OUTLAW VISION ins Leben gerufen. Eine wöchentlich live gestreamte DJ-Show, in der er seine eigene Musik und die anderer Bands aus der Szene präsentiert, während er mit den Chattern plaudert. Zwischendurch hat er drei neue Tracks veröffentlicht: TRIOLITH, ISOLNATION und TERRORFYING. Alles Tracks, die es in Sets und Playlists auf der ganzen Welt geschafft haben.

MATT HART conceived the idea to write electronic/industrial music under his own name about 15 years ago and has been writing music on the side ever since. However, holding down a day job, spending some time playing guitar and bass with London industrialists, CONCRETE LUNG, and DJing at seminal London alternative club, SLIMELIGHT, held him back from focusing on his own creation.

In 2017 things changed and he decided to release a back catalogue of thirteen tracks called the `Anthology of Corrosion´ in January. With renewed vigour for creation he then put out a two track single `Judge & Punish´ in March. Later in 2017 he released his first “proper” EP, `Chaos Rising´ and was reviewed by a few scene magazines: `It’s not perfect at points it is in awe of the influences rather than being inspired by them“ but this is a solid start, and I can only hope Matt will follow this up with more material in the future.´ – amodelofcontrol.

More material followed in january 2018 with `Transition01′ and `Chaos Rising 2´ on the 14th March. On August 9th he released `Mercury Flow´ and b-side, `Better World (remastered)´. “Chaos Rising 3” was released on 30th November 2018.

2018 was also the year to bring the chaos to the stage with live guitarist, Jerome Badoux of Drilling Spree. March 24th saw Matt support Mortalitech at Zigfred Von Underbelly and more recently he supported [:SITD:] at the Electrowerkz. He has since received lots of good words towards his live show and will continue to evolve the music for the stage.

2019 began with a bang supporting Sulpher and Sheep on Drugs at the Lexington, in April Matt supported Grendel and in July he supported God Module and ESA both at the Electrowerkz. In the summer he played the warm up party for UK’s Infest Festival with Das Ich and in November he played the inaugural “Static Darkness Festival” in London with headliners Rotersand, Funker Vogt and Agonoize.

The “Chaos Rising”-trilogy was produced, mixed and mastered by Matt himself and the artwork has been created by Vlad McNeally of kallistidesign. Moving forward and starting with the new album TERRA 3808, Matt has employed the technical services of Adi Calef of DNA Studios London for all mixing and mastering.

In November 2019 Matt released the album TERRA 3808. Alt enter magazine write… “After multiple singles, Matt Hart is releasing the new full length record `Terra 3808´. It is a concept album set in the future, where man is entrenched so deep into the mainframe of existence that he only exists superficially in reality. An industrial record in it’s finest form, framing a narrative of a dystopian future, war and a bleak reality.”

2020 has been a year of change and reimagining. With the events industry in turmoil Matt has returned to his roots as a DJ and has created “OUTLAW VISION”, a weekly live streamed DJ show where he showcases his own music and that of other bands from the scene all while chatting with the chats. In amongst this he has released three new tracks, TRIOLITH, ISOLNATION and TERRORFYING, all tracks that have made sets and playlists around the world.
